This gathering was facilitated by Bruce Gibbs and Serge Prengel.
Some of what we do is similar to traditional meditation — moments of staying in meditative silence. But these are short moments, 10 to 15 minutes.
There are two major differences compared to traditional meditation groups:
– One is that meditation moments are attended to with an intention to notice our reactions and emotional responses to what comes without judgment.
– The other difference is that this gathering includes interaction. We will be mindfully sharing our inner experience in new ways.
The following is a 6-minute excerpt from the gathering, with Bruce and Serge describing the process. This is meant just for the people who attended the gathering. It is probably not clear enough to be meaningful to people who have not attended the gathering.
Within the next couple of weeks, we will be posting simple instructions on how to do this. Hopefully, they will be useful to everybody, including people who have not experienced this process.
